Five Ideas Shipped — Some Made Their First $1
A transparent look at what happened after shipping five products: revenue, silence, feedback and the uncomfortable middle.
Five Ideas Shipped — Some Made Their First $1
Since June, I've been building in public. Five ideas have shipped, each with a paywall behind it. Some have made their first dollar. Others haven't made a shishi.
The useful part isn't the number
The point of shipping wasn't to prove that every idea would work. It was to create something real enough to get evidence from.
A landing page can tell me whether a message sounds interesting. A working product can tell me whether someone will actually use it.
What I'm watching
- Can a stranger understand the product quickly?
- Can I reach the first users without a large ad budget?
- Does the problem hurt enough for someone to pay?
- What happens after the first transaction?
What's next
The sandbox is getting more ambitious. I'm moving from simple SaaS experiments toward systems, APIs and AI infrastructure while keeping the same constraint: build something useful, put it in front of people and learn from what happens.
Still building.
